Meteor Shower lights up Cali sky

Citizens of Central California were treated to a spectacular lightshow as a meteor shower rained down over the Mohave Desert earlier this evening. The shower was followed by a radiant burst of energy high in the upper atmosphere. While there seems to be no detrimental consequences from the event, authorities have moved in to quarantine the area and have collected specimens of debris for testing. The heroines, Jade of the Titans, StarGuard of Aegis Vanguard and well as meta-human hero, Power Boy, were on hand during the shower and prevented any collateral damages from the falling space debris.
